Penned Con 2014

penned

So, I have to put up a post about my wonderful weekend in St. Louis at Penned Con. The event was hosted by Rick and Amy Miles, and they did an amazing job. We met some truly talented authors and learned a lot from Mark Coker, founder of Smashwords. I’m very excited to say too, that the weekend raised almost $11k for Action For Autism. I’m very proud for them.

Now, it must be said though, that the best part of the whole weekend for me was finally meeting my book bestie Author Elle Brooks. Anyone who has ever followed a post of mine, knows that she is someone wonderful and I love her. Here’s a little highlight of our AWESOME weekend.

Thursday

Neither one of us had ever been to St. Louis . . . so after asking around, here’s what we decided to do. A visit to the famous arch, a tour of the Busch Brewery, and a night out ultrafeasting (sushi, Thai, and lots of beer).
